Morocco recently experienced a significant earthquake that has caused widespread damage to communities, homes, and infrastructure. The impact of this disaster on the lives of Moroccans is profound, and our hearts go out to all those affected.
NCCAR extends its deepest condolences to the families who have lost loved ones, and our thoughts are with those who are injured or have been displaced from their homes. As an organization committed to fostering greater understanding and knowledge about the Arab world among Canadians, we stand ready to offer our support to Morocco and its people in any way possible.

In Libya, a powerful storm followed by severe flooding has resulted in a humanitarian crisis of significant proportions. The relentless forces of nature have disrupted the lives of countless Libyans, leading to loss of life, displacement, and extensive damage to communities.
NCCAR expresses its heartfelt condolences to the people of Libya who are enduring these hardships. We recognize the resilience of the Libyan people in the face of adversity and commend the efforts of local and international organizations providing assistance. We urge the international community to continue their support to help Libya recover and rebuild.

Le Conseil national pour les relations canado-arabes (NCCAR) est solidaire des peuples du Maroc et de la Libye en ces temps difficiles, alors que les deux pays sont aux prises avec des catastrophes naturelles aux conséquences dévastatrices.
Le Maroc a récemment connu un important tremblement de terre qui a causé des dégâts considérables aux communautés, aux habitations et aux infrastructures. L'impact de cette catastrophe sur la vie des Marocains est profond, et nos pensées vont à toutes les personnes touchées.
Le NCCAR présente ses plus sincères condoléances aux familles qui ont perdu des êtres chers, et nos pensées vont à ceux qui sont blessés ou ont été déplacés de leur foyer. En tant qu'organisation engagée à favoriser une meilleure compréhension et connaissance du monde arabe parmi les Canadiens, nous sommes prêts à offrir notre soutien au Maroc et à son peuple de toutes les manières possibles.

Les forces implacables de la nature ont perturbé la vie d’innombrables libyens, entraînant des pertes de vies humaines, des déplacements et d’importants dégâts dans les communautés.
Le NCCAR exprime ses sincères condoléances au peuple libyen qui endure ces épreuves. Nous reconnaissons la résilience du peuple libyen face à l’adversité et saluons les efforts des organisations locales et internationales qui apportent leur aide. Nous exhortons la communauté internationale à poursuivre son soutien pour aider la Libye à se relever et à se reconstruire.
