NCCAR is pleased to announce that it will hold its Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Conference on Sunday, November 7 from 13:00 – 16:00 via Zoom Meeting at the following link: https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZ0qc-2srzgvHNVrUCMalQx37A5P5dXOfF-I. Please register to the zoom meeting by clicking on the link here and click the RSVP link below to RSVP to the AGM.
The AGM will open with a report on NCCARs current programs and activities and present the 2020 financial report as well as NCCAR strategic plan for the upcoming year. A full AGM programme including confirmation of conference speakers and relevant documents will be shared with all registered participants several days prior to the AGM.
All friends and members are welcome to join the meeting. However, if you wish to have the right to vote at the AGM and have not donated at least $15 ($10 for students) since the June 2020 AGM, you can make your donation via Canada Helps at this link: “Canada Helps” or by sending a cheque payable to NCCAR, P.O Box 2054, Station B, Ottawa, Ontario K1P 5W3 or by making an e-transfer to [email protected]. Any member who cannot attend may designate a proxy to vote in her/his place by sending us a message naming the member in good standing who will vote in your place and his/her contact information.
In advance of the AGM, we are making a Call for Nominations to the Board of Directors. If you would like to join the Board and are ready to actively contribute your time to managing our operations and programs, please send an email nominating yourself to the Board to [email protected] by November 5th, 2021 along with a short bio of not more than 300 words highlighting your education, work and voluntary experience and motivation to sit on the Board. You can also nominate another member in good standing to the Board. The NCCAR nominations’ committee will verify, confirm and approve all valid nominations and will create a list of nominees eligible for election at the AGM.

Si vous souhaitez vous joindre au conseil d'administration et êtes prêt à consacrer activement votre temps à la gestion de nos opérations et programmes, veuillez envoyer un courriel pour vous présenter au conseil d'administration à [email protected] d'ici le 3 novembre 2021 avec une courte biographie de pas plus que 300 mots soulignant votre formation, votre expérience professionnelle et bénévolat et votre motivation à siéger au conseil. Vous pouvez également nommer un autre membre en règle au conseil. Le comité des nominations du NCCAR vérifiera, confirmera et approuvera toutes les nominations valides et créera une liste de candidats éligibles à l'élection lors de l'AGA.
