Join us for Healing Gaza (RSVP below), a powerful symposium addressing the devastating healthcare crisis in Gaza and the innovative grassroots responses emerging in the face of siege and war. Co-hosted by NCCAR and CAF, this event brings together leading voices in medicine, humanitarian aid, and policy to spotlight urgent needs and solutions.
The symposium will feature keynote speaker Dr. Tarek Loubani, renowned physician, humanitarian, and founder of the Glia Project, alongside a distinguished panel of experts. Through keynote presentations, panel discussions, and policy dialogues, the event aims to:
- Expose the collapse of Gaza’s healthcare system under war and blockade
- Highlight resilient grassroots innovations like Glia’s 3D-printed medical devices
- Develop and present policy recommendations to the Canadian government
- Raise essential funds to support healthcare efforts and future advocacy.
