Andrea Soueidan: A Radiant Entrepreneur Committed to Connection and Giving Back
Andrea Soueidan is more than an entrepreneur—she is a radiant force who believes in the power of positive energy and the importance of giving back. As the founder of Altitude Connections, a bespoke concierge service in Montreal, Andrea has built a business that reflects her lifelong passion for service, hospitality, and connecting people. Known for her warm and vibrant spirit, she often says, "I believe in energy, I believe in radiance. You need to sprinkle it out to receive it."
Her mission is simple yet profound: to give her clients the luxury of time—one of the most precious gifts of all. "I am a time-saver," Andrea explains, offering tailored personal, family, and corporate concierge services that allow her clients to focus on what truly matters in their lives.
A Journey of Connection and Resilience
Born into a loving Lebanese family and raised in Montreal, Andrea’s journey has been one of both personal and professional growth. After earning a degree in Business, she began her career in banking. However, life took her on an exciting adventure. Marriage brought her to Chicago, where she spent sixteen years raising her son and daughter. A transformative move to Dubai reignited Andrea's passion for connecting with others. Although she had always maintained relationships across the globe, it was in Dubai that she felt a deep calling to revive her love for hosting and caring for people—realizing she was destined for something greater.
Taking the Leap: Founding Altitude Connections
In 2012, Andrea returned to Montreal with a renewed sense of purpose, ready to prioritize her dreams. She recalls, "I struggled like everybody else. I was divorcing, starting a new business, and raising two kids." Despite the challenges, Andrea remained determined, knowing she was meant for more. Drawing on her natural ability to connect and offer recommendations, she transformed her talents into a business. "You have to be resilient, believe in yourself, and just keep going," Andrea advises, and that perseverance paid off.
Launching Altitude Connections came with its own set of hurdles—many people misunderstood the concept of a personal concierge. But Andrea’s resilience shone through as she tirelessly explained her services at networking events. Her reputation grew, and #AskAndreaMTL became synonymous with trust and efficiency.
Full Circle Moments and Empowering Women
In 2022, Andrea co-founded Women Investing in Women to create a supportive community for female entrepreneurs. Understanding the pivotal role networking played in her own success, she ensured this initiative provided a safe haven for authentic connections. "We all started at the bottom. This isn’t just another networking event; it’s about true and safe connection," she emphasizes.
2024 marks a new chapter with the launch of Connections by Ralia, an event space Andrea co-created with Ralia Realty. Located on St. Laurent Boulevard, this project brings her journey full circle—transforming her passion for connecting with others into a dedicated event space where professionals, families, and entrepreneurs can come together in a harmonious blend of wellness and business.
Community Leadership and Giving Back
Andrea’s commitment to community and philanthropy extends beyond her business. She proudly serves on the Board of Friends for the Lebanese Film Festival, the Cedars Cancer Foundation Board, and the McCord Museum Gala Event Board, contributing her leadership and passion to raise awareness and support for these important causes.
Believing that success is not just about receiving, but also about giving back, Andrea and her team host the annual Sip N' Shop MTL event to support local businesses, artists, and services. Entry to the event is a shoe box filled with essential items for women in need, wrapped with a personal note. These boxes are donated to vulnerable women through a partnership with The Shoebox Project, helping to brighten the holidays for those most in need.
Andrea's Legacy
“You do good, you receive good. Look at challenges as opportunities to move forward, take leaps, do better, and learn,” Andrea suggests. Her story is a powerful testament to the importance of connection, resilience, and following one's intuition. Through her journey, Andrea continues to inspire and uplift others, proving that genuine human connection is the most valuable currency of all.
